| Living with oneself is indeed quite a challenge. Maybe the only one, we, humans, NEED to face. There is only one way to avoid it and many of us have thought of it, who knows how many even tried it. Some even succeeded... but there is no way for us to know whether they have acctually got rid of what they had found so unbearable. As for writing, it IS a selfish act. Surely, there is more to it than that, but expressing oneself IS a selfish act. Whatever we do is selfish in a way or another. Think of when you help someone: you do it hoping it will get back to you some day. Maybe you'll say it isn't so, but it is, even if you don't realize it.In the end it all comes down to self-preservation and you, asking yourself why doesn't anyone care, do you care? You will say, of course. But can anyone tell you care? | |
