I'm a poet, I'm not blind, cos I see things through every eye of the world and the more I listen to the voice within me the more I hear what is sounding outside. Dag Hammarskjold said the last thing I just wrote here and I agree with him, so where is the silence? In Universe is no silence cos of the atomic explosions that occur. If you turn on the tv on no channel you'll see a grey screen and you'll hear the noise around Earth.

a good poet is a dead poet. silence these words and we’ll make you a billionaire.

My opinion is that "poets are blind" just like the ancient priestess of Apollo, Pythia, who could see into the future, because they can see things that no one else could see...What do you say, Dan?Am I right?!
And silence is full of meaning,it's not an infinite nothing.

"And when I squinted
the world seemed rose-tinted,
Angels appeared to descend...
And to my surprise
with half-closed eyes
things looked even better
than when they were opened..."

Your poem just reminded me this
