| For poetry to trigger a feeling it needs that certain X factor to move and provoke and lift the reader, otherwise it can be placed somewhere between banal and routine confessions. try to avoid repetitive words. The moments you described above are special to you...dig deeper, use your sensors to ‘photograph it’...rather than explain it to the reader. I wanted to ‘be there’...but couldn’t... Best wishes.
