a text I hadn't seen before
it reminds me of my grandmother, how noble she was in opening unseen, quiet patterns of mystery, magic and epic control upon the seen world
in fact you described in such a smooth, relishing way the archetypal image of the grandma for an enchanted child

I think I envy you for this poem

The idea of writing this poem came to me after leaving my grandma's house and finding myself in a place that simply felt alien at the time. It expresses nostalgia for that mystic universe of lullabies and superstitions where a child grows up, but also the difficulty in freeing his soul from the cocoon, from the very need to recreate it in other environments in order to embrace experience and evolve. Thank you!

Sorry, I think I was a bit confusing in my final phrase. I meant to say the difficulty in overcoming one's addiction to the original cocoon and its later surrogates in order to adjust to the outside world.

This poem lets me withouth breath while I was reading it...I felt the atmosphere oh grandma's house, that peaceful place, but full of mystery and depth in the same time.
This can be the universal kind of grandmother and all the feelings that we feel sitting next to her.
Congratulations.

Indeed, I was in a strange dimension when I wrote the poem, like undergoing some jolly regression. I'm glad you joined me there, too. Cheers!
