| congratulations, you pulled me in. Story nailed it! I was drawn into the character and felt the hallow empty feeling. I love the way you paced and added layer by layer. I also like your social commentary about forgetting what the holidays are about, and how our culture engulfs this meaning of killing living things, such as trees, and consumerism...when it's about cherishing life, birth and thankfulness (love, happiness, etc...) for the people we have in our life.
