...and as Karma goes around we realize that both communism
and capitalism can be brought down, by the people or by the market.

Karma is based on the principle cause-effect, the whole world is a chain reaction, the consequence that is being born every minute. The deeds of our ancestors will follow us until we reach a certain equilibrium. Your poem points very well to the fact, the modern society is allured by the hypnotic power of money, by the ever growing economy, and there is no time left to think about the spiritual peace, the spiritual fulfilment...well it's too bad...everything we do comes back to us...in a form or another...you've reached a deep and rhetorical topic, by bringing karma into the picture...

Enjoyed your words a lot,
my kind regards, Mihai

...every one of your words here, Mihai! This was indeed a heart-warming response. Once again I'd like to focus on the
perspective of social organization. Neither communism, nor dogmatic neo-liberal thinking seem to offer lasting solutions to the problem of a balanced economy. I recognize the need to secure common peoples economic interests without an authoritarian one-party state.

Every type of social organization that we have or had, seems to have a flaw- limiting the economical development or overflowing the economical market with too many offers and few buyers, where everybody produces and sells, to a smaller request market. Not forgetting, that most of the political parties, fight for their own people and interests rather for the people. The common people's interests aren't by any stretch of imagination represented by the parties or the political class.Every man for himself. To ensure a balanced economy we need to give and receive equally,to cut off corruption and enhance the morality of people, from the garbage man to director.
my kind regards, Mihai

...where are the greatest comedies or tragedies to be found -
in "reality" or in "fiction?" And are these states of conscience twins, really? Thanks a lot for your generous comment, Mike!

the commedies and tragedies are in reality, such as the news and journalism, yet a poet (fiction writer, etc) can make people notice on a human level that cannot be expressed in journalism.

So nice with all these feedback on one little poem. Decidedly
you have a point there, Mike. Fiction/poetry is a good remedy when your dealing with comedy, tragedy and the combination.
Cheers from Willy
