I like the Romanian version as well, but I found the English version to be sharper and well delivered, more elegant. Cheers, Marius

= problematic | Diana Todea [04.Dec.08 12:14] |
Hello, I just have two problems with this text: why is stated to be an essay, because obviously is not an essay? Secondly, I find it to be a rather illogical piece of writing that promotes beating. Anyway, I'm not writing to offend personally the author, is just this writing that seems a bit dubious to me and cheap. Is not intellectually challenging, from my perspective. Cheers, Diana.

it's not so smart, but it's definitely ironic, Diana.
= kicking | felix nicolau [04.Dec.08 20:56] |
thank you all for your witty remarks! but diana, this is encouraging violence in a reverse way - -women should take advantage of the men's current weakness. so, kick them off. as for essay, yes, if i had marked it asa poetry, everybody would have said it's a blasphemy, wouldn't they? marius, could smth "definitely ironic" be otherwise than smart?
= a twisted example | dan marius [05.Dec.08 11:20] |
well, Mircea Geoana (sadly, a romanian politician) might want to seem "definitely ironic" some times. But the question is : is he smart?
= d | felix nicolau [05.Dec.08 21:55] |
we all know that geoana's nickname is "the silly". so, i could crossly say that my essay is wholly and entirely out of politics, not even sexist
