...was not particularly about Gaza. Through the times, in many countries and civilizations, religion and God has been
exploited by warmongers on either side. The poem is anti-war
in general. Nevertheless, my heart also cries for the children of Gaza. Thank you very much for your comment!

...and the reader is entitled to her/his reading of a poem apart from the authors intention. Sometimes a reader's interpretation may be quite as interesting as your own. Really, that is partly what makes poetry exciting. So, feel free! There is no need for excuse.
