This reminds me of Henrik Ibsens play Peer Gynt in the scene where Peer compares his soul to an onion and proceeds to peel this onion. He reveals layer after layer, but alas, no core! Which is also the case with people (writers, critics, academics) who lean too heavily on the ever changing literary fashions. The exquisiteness of this poem is in itself a most useful weapon in the ongoing battle between poetry and fashion. Let's hear it for poetry! My best wishes to you for the New Year, Heghedus! | Diana, thank you very much your appreciation honors me. It seems to me that people are confused and often scared, they do not know what to do with their lives, and most of them even do not realize that. Sometimes I revolt sometimes I feel compassion. They use to speak a lot and say nothing. I am worried about the young, about the sad reality that these times anybody can graduate any studies. However, let us forget about it today, because the New Year is knocking at the door. I wish you all the best, especially health and completion. And Willy, thank you also once again, God be with you and your family, you are amongst those few delicate people, which never forget to give a generous answer.
