| Thanks Romulus. I guess theatrical is right on point. Because even though this letter is directed to someone and even though it comes from the most inner part of me, that doesn't mean it's not a bit rehearsed. I know I introduced a lot of cliches but sometimes that is the only way to get the message across. I know he is reading. Thanks for your honesty. Love your poems. :) | |

| I am one of those fighting against this poetry-destroying, cliche-hunting. For some of our "modern" poets, critics and readers, day to day life has become a cliche, love something obsolete, and anything not suicidal, "gothic" of bloody, outdated. For some of these folks, most of the classics would have ended right in their trash-baskets. Go ahead and write out your feelings, thoughts, your inner self as you wrote, in a literature honouring way, as you did above. Some are reading, I can assure you. Reading you. | |
