the intellectual preoccupations turned
into humankind’s fashion show
unveiled like well polished muscles
almost deformed because of
the so much importance allotted to them
under the disgraceful indecent clothes

articulations gnash under the burden
of gimcracks alike tireless bells
with their deafening tinkling
of neologisms and jargons
when everything carry the “super” prefix
it is almost impossible to not collapse
into depression in contrast
with so much quantity of superlative

in a world of a demented agitation
it becomes a habit to be quick
on the uptake everything
according to the moment’s need
the emulation devoid of foundation
and the modern language
crossed out from the dictionary
the common sense’s notion
leveling personalities until transparency

it is about a rope dancing on the loose gab
when it doesn’t matter the word’s effect
only its sonorousness and the gesticulation
borrowed during the pronunciation

with their smile of withered chrysanthemum
with the satisfied appetite at each buttonhole
every day void people cross proudly
the street through the core of the imperative crowd
as if they would cross a purgatory
