have you seen
the high moon
of unknown tribes?
defiant, it sings them
out of the kingdom
of night.
before all war
we wander within
the scorched forest.
the paths taste of ash
even the sacred watercourses
have frozen in an ashen fall.
upon those frightening stakes
descending out of the blue depths
the dew lies untouched.
it weeps for us
and their silence
is endless... as the silence of the gods.
what do you know of freedom?
