Lui Horia Zilieru

Mi-e sete de-un prieten in ceasu-acesta lung,
Sa-l simt tacand alaturi ca o vioara plina,
Sa-i spun cum urc spre steaua pe care n-o ajung,
Cu talpile-ntepate de lumina.

Pe cate zari stapana este privirea mea !
Si totusi cate ceruri straine mi-au ramas.
Cand as putea prin vise sa zbor pe-un colt de stea,
De ce ma rod nelinisti la fiecare pas ?

Ca-ntr-o columna supla sapata in oglinzi,
In mine se reflecta tot ce-i frumos in voi.
Dar ce-ntelegi din toate si-n cantec ce desprinzi
Ca sa ramana sensul intineririi noi ?

In fiecare seara lauta veche-mi sparg
Si muzici mult visate se sting cu vaier lung.
Ce vanturi reci pandi-m-or cand plec din nou in larg
Spre steaua mea inalta pe care n-o ajung ?
