Să scriu ravașe lungi, și-n orice sară Să trec pe la fereastra-i luminată, S-o vad la geam, cum umbra și-o arată, Și ore-ntregi s-aștept să-mi mai apară. Din ochii mari, privirea ei fierbinte Asupra-mi blând și dureros să cadă, Și-ntr-un suspin ea să-mi citească gândul ... Frumosu-i chip să farmece-a mea minte, Și ca pe-un astru-n sufletu-mi purtându-l, Să fiu copil, și visurilor pradă!
