De multe ori, dorința de-a te strânge La piept, mai caldă, mai pasionată, Îmi deștepta o grijă-ntunecată: Când voi muri...î și tu-ncepeai a plânge... Poveste-i azi, și nici măcar nu-i tristă, Căci totul s-a sfârșit pe nesimțite; Nici urmă din ce-a fost nu mai există. Vezi tu, ce de iluzii risipite! Un semn, o fluturare de batistă. Și ca un val uitarea ne înghite.
