We never had enough time for ourselves
Hollow nights grew stormily over
the remains of the days
we had killed
together

The cosmic nonchalance produced
its numerous eclipses of us
on scatty eyes
although our arms were seeking mutually
building scaffolds around the city
earthing in a schism
the thunderbolts
broken

The universe had expanded imperceptibly
and the fretful time reinvented
crimson edged celebrations
failing to bring us
closer

Forget without forgiveness worked insidiously
and all the passing by years carved
irreversible deep impressions
on daily withering
faces
