painted upon
the crystal sky.
Or as the song of nature in the spring,
when all birds sing,
and rivers sigh.
And lovely as a tear from the stars,
soothing the scars
of pain that’s never healed.
Or as dew-drops on the grass –
your Holy Mass
with my soul sealed.
