I've thought of words to say what you mean to me;
Yet words are just whispers with no sense at all.
I've thought of the reasons I'm feeling this way;
Yet reason and feeling cannot stay together.
Tired of thinking, I let myself carried
By this sweetest emotion, this shiniest ray
Which pierce the clouds of my innermost darkness,
Allowing my soul to live one more day.

It's just been one day; it seems like forever.
I've only begun losing my head.
I realize now that the over-used "never"
Should not be a word so lightly said:
I've never imagined I'd fall so in love...
I've never conceived such a being was real...
I've never considered myself worthy of
Such praise from the one who'd make me so feel.

I'm waiting for the day after tomorrow;
I'm dreaming of the night before today.
I'm hoping to forget about all sorrow
When lost in you I'll always wish to stay.
Seduction and desire have guided me so far,
But I no longer feel the shallows of a mood.
I'm reaching now towards the shiniest of stars
And find you there, once more: where you have always stood.
