Quiet whispers
between wind and trees
darkness descending,
secretly –
eyes chatting,
tenderly -
the contented crackle
of flames feasting
on cold winter nights;
hands holding on,
tightly -
the stillness of colours at play
on morning skies -
thoughts that speak
silently
into the mirror of awe -
vibrations, trembling
in anticipation of a sound
