Voice of the Dead

What makes you tremble with fear, my dear,
do you think I am going to hurt you?
No,I simply can't.
I am neither a tiger nor a snake,
nor lightening or thunder either,
I am just a handful of harmless dust!
Dear me,It makes me feel ashamed
when I see you fear me !
fear the sharks and hawks, if you will,
that lurk around you for a deep bite into your raw,pink flesh;
I am none of those villains,sweet,
but just a shadow of life,still, under a mound?
since you have come here I beckon you
to come closer and grace me
with a fresh rose placed on my sun-burnt chest,
my restless soul may be appeased,
and I could return your favor
by blessing you in advance ,
on my voyage to an eternal journey!
