Inner beauty was her glory
kindness seeped from every pore
their tale an age old story
love endless as waves upon a shore
Her love was silvery moonlight
his stronger than the wind
together in the stormy night
on each other, they could depend
She saw what was inside him
that no other could ever see
past pain and anger binding
her love had set him free
