Since our birth we have been thrown
into a deep water,
forced to swim
in order to reach the other shore,
without the possibility of coming back,
but only to surrender.
Some float,
let themselves carried away by the waves,
the courageous ones
fight against the waves,
dreaming victories;
some others sink in the depth of water
in order to know its depths,
always, always in search…

The freedom of the movement
and the restriction of the swimming race,
frightens, hurts…
Maybe that’s why we live undecided,
eternally
between fear and dream.
