- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 2008-09-20 | | It's only far from it all that the caving-in really happens Only where the blaze of her voice and the jazz in her eyes stop reaching out London is strange growing stranger(s) like an icy cocoon Blissful rain cleansing sorrow – not wiping it out Turning all filthy feelings to diamonds only imagined Here he sits on the steps of a deep childhood dream As if centuries of grieving lay dust on his eyelids Shaping another era of hope underneath Thames comes out of the mist raging and turning A merry-go-round of split memories Here comes her fractured smile galloping on a white wooden horse Armed with the fiercest sun-lumps nostalgia has Here it blocks all entrances that he gapped in the dome When all becomes out of reach he just swims at sea Strange ways her steaming love makes of all heavens this No place for two and drowning better than walking alone
