Objects appear and disappear,
as quick shadows, of a hasty sun,
chased by athletic clouds.
Images shift rapidly
as sounds in a symphony,
awaking the silence.
Time blocks all exits,
in huge labyrinths, adorned
with traps and cul de sac.
The mind is tied to a bird with dead wings
that's falling down towards
a famished sea.
And the heart....the heart is an overheated engine
ready to blow up.
