During the strike from this autumn, on a Thursday, a phone call announces a meeting with all the leaders from this area.

Rains insistently –
scattered by wind
leaves everywhere

Pitiless rain in Cugir. I make up my mind rapidly. I get into Dacia. A trip in such conditions is difficult. I will be a copilot as so many other times.
At road, traffic intense. The cars have their headlinghts on. They drive cautiously. Until Vintu de Jos, we drive much slowly as usual.

At the barrier –
dozen of cars are waiting
only one train

The road is free. We steal among full of water holes. It rains no more. My eye looking by a small house.

On old fence
invaded by lonicera –
last flowers

Next, an unpopulated house.

Across the fence
only a raspberry –
the last from this year

On leaving Vint, we can improve the speed. I have time to look towards the sky. The clouds are scattering. Behind us, the sun.

Double rainbow
from Acmar to Alba –
bow spreading through clouds

Cheered up by rainbow, the road seems easier, Alba Iulia closer.

Wet pavement –
maple-leaves burning
cover it

Warmed up by sun, the bimillenial city is much hospitable. Waiting the meeting end, I wander to the shops and admire the leaves from the trees which start their flight…
