Tu, Cel ce m-ai chemat pe nume, si-auzul meu intreg il vrei, O, nu-mi lasa urechea-n lume, ci fa-ma surd la glasul ei! Tu, Cel ce vezi cum dau navala atatea maini ce-n spini se-mpung, O, fa-ma pentru tot ce-nsala, sa fiu olog, schilod si ciung! Dar pentru neuitate clipe, pentru comori ce te rasfrang, da-mi mii de ochi si mii de-aripe si mii de brate sa le strang!
