Zapada, tineretea mea,
copilarie pala, muta,
tu, care esti lumina, stea
ce piere surazand tacuta
cazi lin pe mainile aceste
si lumineaza-le mereu,
pe tample asterne-te si peste
sprancene, pe obrazul meu,
pe-ntregul trup asterne-mi, clara,
aceste muzicale osti
si ocoleste-mi ochii doara,
doar ochii – sa ma recunosti...
