Nesabuit, eu nu vreau, nu se poate Iubirea sa ma-ncerce ca-nainte, Caci linistea e mai presus de toate. Nu-ngadui inimii sa se-nfierbinte. Am ispravit cu dragostea. Dar oare… De ce sa nu visez, o clipa doar, Cand o faptura trece si dispare Purtand in ea dumnezeescul har? Nu-mi este-ntr-adevar ingaduit Sa urmaresc o fata cu privirea, s-admir tristetea-i dulce, linistit, si sa-i doresc in viata fericirea, sa afle-al bucuriei inteles si totul dupa placul ei sa fie – chiar fericirea omului ales de fata draga spre a-i fi sotie?
