To be afraid of love, when all was said
When all the spoken pearls have gone
You always dance in darkness, silly maid
Together with the sorrow almost done

To be afraid of love, to dread a touch
A gentle feeling of your skin, not much
A gentle rush in your cheeks just like a light
Not quite a thunder but it might

To be afraid of love, to hide so well
Your feelings in between your humble lies
You hope to throw love in a giant shell
And live forever just for mice
