It seems that every teardrop in my eye has dried out as if there wasn’t any reason for me to spill my sorrow. My eyes decided that it’s time for them to take some rest, to admire the world as it is, with all it’s beauty and ugliness, with all it’s justice and all it’s immoral acts. They decided it’s time to throw away the past, to wash it out as if it were a powerless spot and to step into the light, watching the darkness retreating slowly, like a worm that had been squashed and stepped over and over again. It doesn’t matter now if I am looking like you, if I am looking like her, like a queen or a slave, like an angel or a fiend, it doesn’t matter anymore if I’m your friend or your foe, because from now on I’m just another mask…like you. I woke up after ages to realize that the world is the same, that humanity hasn’t evolved and hasn’t started again from it’s beginnings either. It remained the same, it stood still as if time had lost it’s sinew. “All is new and yet, so old “ as Eminescu said. We have been spinning in the same circle since God created The Blue Planet. I wonder… does this have something to do with the blue color of tears? Blue Planet… a planet drowned by it’s own misery…
If I’d open my heart I will flood the world with my boundless colors, so bright and yet, so gloomy that people will start to putrid under my tears. “Is it possible for me to love without destroying myself? How come there is so much venom in my love?”, said Emil Cioran. My poisonous tears will destroy the planet (or at least what’s left of it) ,but it will destroy it out of love, it will be a pure act of abnegation, the supreme act of fondness. And from every teardrop that will touch the ground , will rise a new man and a new woman that will inherit an old world full of pain and suffering. They will be the masters of a new star, born from the ashes of an old one that used to be called The Blue Planet…
