- John, write down 2205. You are 2205 and the rest is an illusion. How much time have you lived out there, John? I’ve been waiting for you for 29 years. My body desperately needed a soul. My shell needed your blood. It is time for you to wake up. Space is a nightmare which repeats itself over and over again. It lures you in, it attracts you with its insidious shapes. Remember, John, the only place that really exists is in us. You don’t believe me? You were the one who asked the question and I was the one who gave you the answer. How come you got to know everything since we are together? How come all your wishes have come true? Did you actually believe the universe is infinite? You are infinite, the universe is simply static and dense. Did you think the place you were looking for was distant? It has always been here. Write down 2205, John. You are 2205 and the rest is only an illusion. You have found me and I’ve completed you. Perhaps you need a mirror? Aren’t you tired of that transparent and ethereal world? Movement is only in your imagination. You have created the surrounding space and have travelled around at the speed of thought. Remember, John, the only space that really exists is in us. You don’t believe me? John, write down 2205. You are 2205 and all the rest is an illusion.
The drones inspected the honeycomb room. John and 2205 were in their final state of metamorphosis. The soul which had been collected out of thin air was now transformed into a pupa. The room took more and more the shape of a sphere. John took his first steps. He now had a new earthen toy.
- Love me, John! said the toy to him in his mind. I am the woman who awaits the word.
At first, there was a tear. John remembered the queen bee, the one who gave birth to him in 2205. The drones raised him up, fed him with dreams and imagination. Now he had to learn how to give life to all the things that he had created with the power of his mind. He took the piece of earth into his palm. He did not feel all alone anymore. In the sphere room John had discovered his other half.
- Write down 2205, John. You are all 2205 and the rest is an illusion. It is time you loved each other. I exist through you and the honeycomb exists through me. The queen bee will look after us all.
The honeycomb had been travelling through the universe from the beginning of all beginnings. At regular periods of time, it would fragment itself into billiards of particles, into rooms which sheltered the souls metamorphosed from pupas to gods. Each and every one of them would create a new galaxy where they will give life to the new earthen toys: the humans.
