...and the character(who could easily be mistaken for the real me) claims recognizition for emotions that seem quite as real for him as for any real character. The poem is imspired by one of Oscar Wildes essays with "the Decay of the art of lying" as a theme. One of the questions he asks there is: - Does nature itself change according to the changes contemporary landscape painting is going through? Life is indeed a mystery, as Madonna says. Thanks a lot for your appreciative comment, Gunsel! Cheers from Willy

Willy, i am sure you will do the same even in a reversed vision of this poem (i suddenly gave it a thought), where writing would be a kind of mistress. :) (look, make an experiment at least for fun - write both versions with the necessary changes, then try putting imaginary/mental mirrors at the bottom of each one after this model (version 1 version 2) where () = the mirrors and then focus on you. what do you notice? = I'll surely consider your suggestion, Veronica... | John Willy Kopperud [16.Jul.09 13:09] |
...in the meantime, thank you very much for your (hopefully) productive comment! Cheers from Willy

the interview let's say i'm not a real person let's say i'm a superstition i leave in the 2 dimensions allowed by the flat pages of this book and the only way i can escape into the third dimension is my reader's faith i didn't expect that - god lapsing into some syllogism or weird metaphor with me - just for asking fine - i said - but then how do you escape into the 4th and 5th and the n-th dimension what hidden readers are out there? gee - i'm only responsible for this one you see you're the one out there living in a 3 dimensional book - upper dimensions readers are your problem not mine
