Romulus, you've left me astonished with this poem. You've punched me with something that is almost all the time in our lives, and which chases us anywhere where is light.
"condemned to need the life"/"As light can have whatever fountain to exist" and the most elegant stanzas are in the final "Self-shining brightness, which so hungry swallows/
Together darkness, shadow, thought as mist".
You are perfectly right about what you said in the poem and it gives you the ambiance of reminiscences and also a cheerfulness atmosphere. It "flows", that's why you can read it many more times and will not get bored.
Wonderful poem, wonderful ideas and thoughts and so on; I don't have anymore words left, because all the words flee in my mind are jammed at the mind door - all my thoughts want to get out in the same time.
I think that this poem surely deserves a star.

Cheers Romulus!
Wonderful job!
