You should take a close look to the text, because "I'm growing" is to obviously used and becamed annoying for reading. You should try to use different expressions for "I'm growing" and the repeat of the expressions is good in different visual effects when you want to use a repetition for involving the reader into the "paint" that you wanted him to see.
