| Dan, I beg to differ; if you feel it then it is there. When you think it, remember it, smile to it, if it’s there in your heart when you wake up and again there at night, when it rises you high and inspires your world, when it brings you in the mood for creation then it’s there. We have so much love inside us, we only find reasons to express it and the others are great reasons for it, love is in a smile as is a ray of sun that brightens up your day or a song that makes your heart sing in tune with love’s grace. And if at one point you give it up, you start to look away, it bores or annoys you, makes you sore then it may not be there no more. Love creates more love, in yourself and the others, killing that feeling will leave you and your life dry, you can kill it by keeping it hidden, by blaming it, by finding reasons why it shouldn’t be, ignoring it or being mean to it, love will indeed retreat, bury itself deeper in you until you are ready to look in its eyes once more. | Marius, For me, the first verses are so very important, those are your origins, first thoughts that took a shape, those are the moments in time when the soul and its feelings gave awareness to one’s mind and what I think it’s remarkable about poetry is that lack of fear that allows the soul to manifest itself freely, finding words and expressions to any of the soul’s vibrations. Those first poems mean giving up any fear and letting the soul manifest free and create. Besides, going towards the beginning is such a delightful trip when the “why” and “how” are satisfied ;);) Kind regards, Ioana.
