Is this what I suspected, that space is quite down-to-earth and the other way round? Anyway I enjoyed it, and like a great deal of other good stuff it seems to offer various interpretations.

Thank you very much for your response! Chinese? Haiku? Influences yes, but not cocsciously present in SALUTE. The aspects of seriousness and everyday life objects? Very much to the point. Many years now I've been a sucker for TRAVESTY. In Peder Paars Ludvig Holberg uses the grand style of the Aeneid to describe the tenmile sea journey from the mainland of Jylland (Denmark) to the iske of Læsø. And I do love both the english romantics and the beat poets.

John, i was away a little bit and your commentary wasn't signaled to me. I don't know what to say but here, compared to the Romanian side of the site, the tastes are more refined, the minds more dynamic and opened. Maybe this is due to the solid cultural background. As i use to say, my style strives to catch up the aristocratic surrealism - this is an anarchic denomination. Thanks for your keen-eyed perspective.

I'm very glad you could provide those chopsticks - an excellent finishing touch!

Hamsun! Thank you very much! "Please dim the sun a trifle"..it's a bit like calling the janitor about the central heating, isn't it? Anyway, NOSTALGIA is also a ballad of sorts...though there's no rhyming you get this rhytmic alliteration. It CAN be sung. Cheerio from John Willy Kopperud
