This sounds frightening although it talks (for me) about gaining knowledge from others in a predatory way... Maybe replacing head with mind and able to cut it with able to slice it would be more appropriate. Imagine slicing, as in analysing, and retrieving information as if feeding on a bread of knowledge.
I have to say that you do very well in short condensed poems.

Frightening, indeed. But such interesting fright, like a short sequence from a horror movie...life.

Luminita, thank you for your concise and rich interpretation. I would keep "head", since I thought of John the Baptizer’s head. That’s the idea: head as a piercing mind. Nevertheless, "mind” seems to me colder than the flesh, at least from one point of view. Mind alone has to be cold and needs the warmth of the body to express its containing knowledge.

It is funny that you mentioned horror, Diana. “Horrere” in Latin means “to tremble”. I imagine birds ruffling their feathers before starting to fly. In see the fright as an emotion experienced in anticipation of some pain or danger, usually accompanied by a desire to flee or fight. Thank you for your presence and for your poems so much immersed in a “living death”.
