I suppose they forgot to cut your throat
they were too busy making love
on the vernal ladder
they did it
the old fashioned way
"among the ruins
and the flowers"
she said it was ok
to fly like
a sparrow
he smiled and turned against
the dying willow
am I wrong… Lazarus?
