Equalization
essay [ ]
... do we have this chance?

We are all speaking about equal chances… School uniforms, social programs… These are the measurements that society takes so that all have an equal chance. We offer support, we help those who just can’t do it for themselves…
But there is (there must be) a question that arises in our mind: “Is this right?”… Are we doing the correct thing? Are we the ultimate judges, capable of surely deciding over good or bad?! Are we in the posture to lift or destroy a person just because we think he deserves it?!
Those are the question that need to be responded to before we can embark on this quest. Because, only a fool starts such a thing without knowing what he want to accomplish.
Secondly, we have to take in consideration the natural factor. Nature teaches us (of course, only those who want to understand can do it) that not all beings are equal. And that not all beings should be treated at equals. This is the lesson of nature. It is our problem if we want to understand it or not.
School uniforms are a form of equalization that I believe, in the end, ends up discriminating. You can’t impose a uniform, you can not force a student to dress or think in a certain way. We are free, and there is no argument that can contest this freedom. So, I believe that school uniforms are a bad thing, and I also believe that humans in particularly and any other living creature in general have the right to chose for themselves.
If you try to homogenize, you will only destroy the individuals. You will transform them into machines, marching on command and thinking as they have been thought. Honestly, I don’t believe that this is the goal of the school. So, unless you want to form a generation of stupid people, leave those uniform laws away. Every individual is unique, and this oneness must be conserved… This is how a wise man would handle the situation…
In conclusion, I think it is obvious that censorship is not correct. To impose one a style on a person is to censor him… Censorship is bad, because censorship destroys the individual essence…
So, after all this, I can say for sure: school uniforms are not a necessity and should not be introduced. Every person is born free, and must remain that way… This is the natural flowing of the water, this is Tao…
