Ce gol în toamnă mi-e Sibiul!
Printre cîte turnuri sînt
aș mîngîia atîtea drumuri,
ce-ar fugi de pe pămînt -

Aș mîngîia-ntr-un loc o frunză
ce mai sună în urechi -
și soarele mîncat de greieri
pe sub zidurile vechi.
