Ich habe das Dorf geliebt,
in dem die Menschen sich haßten. Ich habe die Stadt geliebt, in der die Menschen sich mißtrauten. Ich habe das Land geliebt, in dem die Menschen sich fürchteten. Warum nur, warum klingt‘s in mir, fernab von Dorf, Stadt und Land? Wohl weil ich gehaßt, mißtraut, mich gefürchtet wie alles Leben im Revier. [Ingolstadt, 1995]
