Adam, your eyes await the apple
To ripe on the bosom of Eve
Who died carrying on to you
tragically hurting, the truth.
Upon her here they come the stigma in the book
Or the inconstancy and equivoque,
With ebony snakes she ties up her hair
In order to understand her cross how to bear.
Then from the abyss to her eyes there trembles
Like the blade of a dagger most venomous
A diamond carrying the shape of a key
Incorporating Alfa and Omega:
So that you don’t know any more
whether she is pagan or divine,
A goddess, a witch or a woman.
