Like a whirlwind with a curly ponytail,
I ran around the dinner table…
like a collie,
rounding up the family…
“Look at me, listen to me!”
And they were all looking,
they were all listening…

Nowadays,
centuries later, it seems,
the table is empty,
nobody is looking,
nobody is listening…
and I’m still running…
round and round and round…
