The Panic room II
The panic room was empty, With nothing in it except for a book shelf. The window overlooked a backyard lawn, Where kids from the neighborhood played hopscotch. There wasn’t much to do in the room I presume, Until I noticed you. Your smiling eyes glimmered cerulean-blue, I would have cheated and lied and sinned for you - Cause you made me giggle in my sleep at night Aware of my misery and dread at daylight - I craved for you. However, I did not leave the panic room I painted it all in cerulean-blue, I bought a canvas of God Pan playing his flute And hanged it on the wall. In spite of all that anguish and ache The torment and pain Love led to something… It led to this.
