Life Cycle Of An Oak
by mazHur Unforgettable are the days When I stood like an Oak, Erect and firm, On the solar plexus of the earth! Nothing could move or slacken me Not even the strong winds Rain, hail or the infrequent quakers; My head penetrated the enticing Vestibule of the seething earth, The overwhelming sky being my body. I gripped the virgin earth with heavenly force, Like a stubborn bull All out to subdue his mate in rut; And penetrated deeper and deeper Into the libidinous crux of the earth Until both of us had reached the ultimate climax And the impregnated earth began to produce New roots and shoots from her ever un-satiated meat; And with the passage of time I grew old and weak and impotent To procreate or even stay firm and erect Any more; Until I was ultimately down And sliced up at the saw mill.
